Okay, I know this isn’t new. I’m just in love with it again. One person said it was hazy, dreamy and genre defining. Exactly.
My husband is always saying “everything with you has to be 50/50.” Well yes sir, it does. As of a week ago, each of us became proud owners of a nifty fifty lens for our DSLR’s. Mine might not be as nice as his but i have never been so excited to see a tiny pice of glass and plastic in my life. After a short intro with my hand-me-down camera body and my new nifty 50 lens the 50/50 project was born. My husband and I will take 50 photos over 50 (non-consecutive) days with our 50mm lens’s. Above is the first of the series. Enjoy!
Thought I would share a pic of the t-shirt my husband and I co-designed for our family reunion this weekend. I just love how they turned out.
The camera symbolizes family gatherings and good times. What makes this one extra special is that I drew the camera from Grandad Germans’ Vintage Canon AE-1. Even though Grandad and Grandma German are no longer with us they will be there in spirit.
I can never find enough time in the day to complete a piece of artwork so for now I will have to settle for a doodle here and there. This particular doodle came to life after my husband and I finished two lovely shaken iced teas from Starbucks. I hope you enjoy the sketch as much as we enjoyed the oh so refreshing beverages.
In satisfying my expensive Starbucks habit today I stumbled upon this yummy treat (top photo). Yay me.
It’s dairy-free, wheat-free, gluten-free and YUMMY. I have certain issues that have lead me to a diet without dairy and gluten. Boo. Needless to say, I have been craving a healthy, crunchy, tasty treat to sink my teeth that doesn’t resemble cardboard. 2 Mom’s in the Raw has just what I need. It’s raw, organic, healthy and did I mention yummy yet?
BTW – the design is delicious too.
I stumbled upon this on Inspiration lab and love, love, LOVE it! It’s a new piece by Brooklyn chalk artist, Dana Tanamachi. Visit her site to see more of her fabulous work.
a while back my husband and I bought our son an Eco Snoopers® back pack. ever since i’ve been wanting to post about these cuties. Eco Snoopers is a lovable line of original characters and products calculated to entertain and educate children – from pre-school to emerging tweens – on the benefits of environmental awareness. i personally love everything about them; the message, color, texture, selection, durability and cute factor. check them out and buy one today.
